Charley Harper

While I was browsing online for a cool wall calendar for this year, I stumbled upon an artist by the name of Charley Harper. How could I have not heard of him or seen his artwork before?? His modernist, stylish representation of animals is genius. He took the basic shapes and colors of animals and their surroundings and was able to give them so much life and personality. A new art obsession. Although I didn't buy the wall calendar, (the shipping is 15 bucks for a calendar??!) I did go on ebay and get the engagement calender for a great deal.
