I am a pretty big fan of these vintage Marushka screen printed canvases. There are not highly collectible, which makes them pretty cheap and they have that simplistic, natural throwback style. Recently I bought the one with the sea bird and driftwood from a thrift store for about 2 dollars. Marushka is a company started in Michigan in 1972 and many of the designs were inspired by the surroundings of the Lake Michigan area. Whenever I see one of these prints I like to just scoop them up. They add a little retro flair to any room and they do not overwhelm with fussy prints or too much color.
