Throughout the year, I waste countless hours going on craigslist or ebay browsing for something that I feel my house needs. Even though I may not actually need the object I am looking for, I will not be satisfied until I get it. Last year, I wanted to replace a papasan chair I had purchased when I needed a chair at an economical price. Believe me, many a person slept in this papasan and I am happy with the services it provided. Fairly recently, however, I discovered my passion for danish modern furniture and I wanted to start collecting pieces, at the same time maintaining a budget. I found this chair on craigslist...a Dux brand chair with original fabric, headrest and authenticity plaque. The price was right, and I have not been able to find this chair anywhere else on the web, except for being sold refurbished at a boutique in San Francisco. It needs wood refinishing, but whatevv. That's an easy task and I love it anyway. Thanks to a very nice guy named Jason who met me half way. Here are a couple examples of reupholstered/refurbished chairs from Lotus Bleu in San Francisco. Darling!!! So much potential for furniture that just needs a little love.
